Living on Cancer’s Edge

I’ve had a craving for freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and cookie dough since Sunday. When do I ever have these cravings? Hardly ever. But it was there. With the quarantine and all though, one must ask, is it worth risking one’s life?

So I waited. Waited until the moment a store run needed to be made, and VOILA. Hand delivered for my living-life-on-the-edge pleasures. COOOOOOOKIE DOUGH!!!!

Raw cookie dough is not safe to eat because it contains uncooked eggs and flour, which can cause food poisoning if they are contaminated with harmful bacteria. Pregnant women, children, older adults, and people with compromised immune systems should not eat raw cookie dough because of these risks.

To that I say: YOLO! (Sometimes we just gotta take certain risks in order to truly LIVE!)

Fresh out the oven and into my mouth. Each soft and scrumptious morsel, falling to pieces, as they so sweetly meet my tastebuds. I am one happy camper, and if it’s death by cookie, I’ll take it.
